8-Day Gravel Epic: From the Red City to the Blue City

For the adventurous rider seeking the road less traveled, MTBMorocco presents the ultimate gravel bike tour: an 8-day expedition from the fiery hues of Marrakech to the mesmerizing blue alleyways of Chefchaouen. This is not a standard road tour; it’s a deep exploration of Morocco’s hidden backcountry, connecting two iconic cities via a network of remote dirt tracks, forest trails, and ancient caravan routes that are perfect for gravel biking.

Experience the incredible diversity of Moroccan landscapes—from the rocky foothills of the Atlas to the cork oak forests of the Middle Atlas and the green, rugged peaks of the Rif Mountains. This fully-supported adventure combines challenging off-road riding with profound cultural encounters, all under the banner of small-group exploration.

Tour Highlights:

  • Iconic Destination Linking: Experience the vibrant energy of the Red City (Marrakech) and the serene, photogenic beauty of the Blue City (Chefchaouen) on one continuous off-road cycling journey.

  • Authentic Cultural Immersion: Stay in traditional guesthouses in remote villages, share meals with local families, and experience legendary Berber hospitality.

  • Fully Supported Bikepacking Style: Our 4×4 support vehicle carries your gear, provides mechanical help, and ensures access to food and water, allowing you to ride light and fully enjoy the adventure cycling.
