4-Day Road Cycling Adventure

Your Atlas road bike tour begins with a start from Marrakech after a bike fitting and route briefing. You ride out of the city on secondary roads, gradually leaving urban traffic behind and entering foothill terrain.

The route follows rolling countryside toward the Ourika Valley, one of the most accessible and scenic valleys in the High Atlas foothills. Expect a mix of flat warm-up sections and progressive elevation gain as the road begins to follow the river corridor inland. Villages, orchards, and mountain backdrops accompany the ride.

Arrival in Ourika is mid-afternoon with time to relax and recover.

Today’s stage is a classic High Atlas road cycling climb day. You continue deeper into the mountain region on winding paved roads linking valleys and hillside villages.

The ride features sustained climbs and long gradient sections as you gain altitude toward Imlil, one of the main mountain hubs of the Atlas range. This segment is valued by cyclists for its consistent climbing profile and low traffic, making it ideal for endurance pacing.

You finish in Imlil, surrounded by high peaks and terraced slopes.

This is one of the most scenic days of the entire Atlas Mountains cycling tour. You ride from Imlil across mountain roads and high passes connecting to the Azzaden side of the range, then descend toward Ouirgane.

Expect a demanding early climb followed by panoramic ridge riding and a long controlled descent. The route passes remote Berber settlements and cultivated terraces, offering open views across multiple valleys.

The stage combines technical riding with strong visual reward a highlight for road cyclists in Morocco.

Your final day rides out from Ouirgane toward the desert plateau landscapes near Agafay. The terrain transitions from green valley roads to more open, arid scenery with rolling profiles and fast sections.

This stage is ideal for steady tempo riding and group rotation, with shorter climbs and long stretches of open road. You finish near Agafay, known for its rocky desert environment and wide views back toward the Atlas Mountains.

At the finish point, bikes are loaded and you transfer back to Marrakech by vehicle.
