Winter Ride – Koutoubia Mosque to Hassan || Mosq

Welcome to Morocco.

Arrival at Marrakech airport and transfer to your hotel in the Medina or city center.

After time to relax, we begin discovering Morocco’s most iconic imperial city. Marrakech is a sensory explosion of colors, sounds, and history.

We visit:

• Koutoubia Mosque
• Bahia Palace
• Saadian Tombs
• Jemaa el-Fna

In the late afternoon: bike fitting, mechanical check, welcome briefing, and presentation of the route.

Overnight in Marrakech.

After breakfast, short transfer (about 1 hour) to Touama at the edge of the Atlas foothills.
Our first ride takes us through quiet countryside roads with red soil, olive groves, and traditional Berber villages. The High Atlas Mountains rise behind us as we pedal through rolling terrain with steady climbs and flowing descents.
Children wave from villages, donkeys carry supplies along the roadside, and snow-capped peaks may be visible in winter.

Overnight in Demnate.

We leave the foothills of the Atlas and gradually descend into central Morocco’s plains.

The landscape opens up into wide agricultural fields and olive groves. Rolling hills transition into smoother terrain as we ride toward Ben Guerir.

Ben Guerir is known for its phosphate industry and its modern development around Mohammed VI Polytechnic University a striking contrast to the rural scenery we cross during the day.

Arrival and overnight in Ben Guerir.

Today is a long but flowing ride across vast open plains.

Expect long straight roads, big skies, and traditional rural Morocco shepherds with flocks, farmers working the fields, and small roadside cafés.

As we approach the fertile region fed by the Oum Er-Rbia River, the landscape becomes greener. This river - Morocco’s second longest - has supported agriculture and communities for centuries.

Dinner and overnight near Machroua Ben Abou / Oum Er-Rbia region.

Our final riding day leads us gradually back toward the Atlantic coast.

Leaving the countryside behind, we cycle through agricultural plains before the urban landscape slowly reappears.

Arrival in Casablanca Morocco’s economic capital and gateway to the Atlantic.

After check-in, we explore:

• Hassan II Mosque one of the largest mosques in the world, dramatically positioned above the ocean
• Place Mohammed V
• The Habous Quarter (New Medina)
• The Corniche Ain Diab

Overnight in Casablanca.

Morning at leisure in Casablanca.

Late morning or early afternoon private transfer back to Marrakech (approx. 2.5–3 hours via highway).

Final overnight in Marrakech near the airport or Medina.

Farewell dinner optional.

Transfer to Marrakech airport according to flight schedule.

End of the tour a complete journey from the Atlas foothills and the Red City to the Atlantic coast and the White City, finishing comfortably back in Marrakech for departure.
