What level of fitness or experience is required?   
This tour is ideal for intermediate riders. You should be comfortable riding 40–75 km per day with moderate to challenging elevation gains (up to 1,500m). Previous mountain biking experience is helpful but not required.

5. Where will we sleep?

You’ll stay in authentic Berber guesthouses, offering comfort, hot showers, and hearty meals. Rooms are typically shared (double or twin), but private rooms may be arranged on request (subject to availability).

6. Is the tour guided

Yes, it’s a fully guided experience with local, experienced cycling guides and a support team. You’ll also meet local hosts during cultural activities like the Berber cooking class.

7. What’s the best time of year to go

The best seasons are spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November) when the weather is ideal for biking–not too hot, and trails are in excellent condition.

8. Is this tour suitable for solo travelers

Absolutely. Solo travelers are welcome and often join our small groups. There’s a friendly group atmosphere, and we can pair you with a roommate or offer a single supplement if you prefer a private room.

9. Will my luggage be carried for me

Yes. Your luggage is transported by support vehicle each day, so you can ride light with just your daypack and essentials.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Marrakech to Imlil - Your Adventure Begin

Distance: 70 km
Elevation Gain: 1,500 meters
Start your adventure with a scenic transfer from   Marrakech    to   Imlil, a charming Berber village nestled at the foot of   Mount Toubkal. After a warm welcome and a brief introduction, you’ll set off on your first bike ride, which takes you through   traditional Berber villages    and   scenic ridgelines.
Cycling Experience: The ride to Imlil is a perfect introduction to the beautiful and   remote landscapes  of the Atlas. You’ll pass   terraced fields, quiet   villages, and experience the warm hospitality of the Berber people.Evening: Arrive at your traditional   guesthouse    in Imlil and enjoy a delicious Moroccan   dinner   prepared with fresh, local ingredients.

Distance: 40 km
Elevation Gain: 1,000 meters
Start your second day with an exhilarating ride through   Azzaden Valley   a.  hidden gem    of the Atlas. This valley is famous for its spectacular   mountain viewsolive groves, and traditional   Berber villages.
Cycling Experience: This is a moderate ride, with winding paths that take you through   lush landscapesremote river crossings, and past charming villages. The challenge of the   Azzaden climb    is rewarded by spectacular views of   the valley and mountains.Afternoon: After a rewarding day of cycling, you’ll arrive in   Ouirgane, a peaceful village nestled in a   valley surrounded by rugged peaks. Relax at your guesthouse and enjoy a   Moroccan feast.

After two days of adventure, take the day to relax and soak in the charm of the   Berber culture. You’ll transfer or bike to   Tkent village, a   hidden treasure  where you can experience life as the locals do.
Cooking Class: In the morning, you’ll join a   local Berber family    for a hands-on cooking class. Learn how to prepare   Moroccan taginecouscous, and    mint tea   all while discovering the culinary traditions that have been passed down for generations.Village Exploration: Spend the afternoon strolling through Tkent’s   narrow streetsolive groves, and terraced fields. The plateau offers   peaceful, scenic roads  with fewer tourists, allowing you to enjoy the natural beauty and quiet charm of the region.
Cycling Experience: The route is a   perfect mix of challenge and tranquility, with gentle climbs and   panoramic views  of valleys, terraced fields, and   traditional Berber villages.Kik Plateau: One of the highlights of the ride, this plateau offers some of the   most stunning vistas    in the Atlas, with views of distant mountain ranges and valleys below.Arrival in Marrakech: After a leisurely descent, you’ll return to Marrakech where the tour concludes. You’ll have the option to relax or explore the vibrant city before your departure.

Group Size: We keep our groups small (usually 4-10 people) to ensure personalized service and a better experience.Fitness Level: Participants must be in good physical condition and capable of cycling for 3-5 hours each day in varying weather conditions.Weather: In case of extreme weather conditions (snow, rain, etc.), the tour may be modified or rescheduled for safety reasons.Cancellations: Cancellations made within 48 hours of departure are subject to a 50% fee; cancellations within 24 hours incur a 100% fee.Responsibility: Participants must follow the guide’s instructions at all times. Respect for local cultures and traditions is essential during the tour.
